"Dr. Levine was an incredible asset for my family.  Before hiring Dr. Levine, my son's school kept insisting that they could handle him.  After falling well below grade level and having severe emotional problems, we hired Dr. Levine to help get an IEP. With Dr. Levine's help, my son received an appropriate IEP, was placed in a new school, and has actually been able to complete work on grade level.  I can not believe it is the same child."

"Our son was in transition and we were out of alternatives for him at the time.  We were in desperate need for a bridge to allow us time to determine what our son needed.  I was amazed at the speed in which Dr. Levine was able to put together a therapeutic program for him at Valley Mill.  The integration of extensive physical activity along with an academic component bundled in a comprehensive program was just what was needed.  It was not only a bridge for the transition, but the feedback provided by multiple daily checklists provided valuable information in our decision making process going forward.  And last, but far from least was the staff at Valley Mill who were truly special and have bonded with our son.  They still send pictures and initiate contact with our son and he insisted on stopping by to visit them when he was back home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.  (He also insisted on bring treats for the dogs and the horses.)    I give the program glowing recommendation for anyone that finds themselves in circumstances like we were in."

"Dr. Eric Levine has been a valued co-worker to the Allegany County Public School system for over a decade. Allegany County Public Schools has had the distinct pleasure of working collaboratively with him in many capacities over the years.  In his role with Sheppard Pratt Health System, the Jefferson School at Finan was conceived and developed in Allegany County. He was instrumental in bringing this much needed day treatment program to a rural area.

Our partnership has continued with his current role as an educational advocate. He is student -entered and strives to make the best decision to support individual needs. Dr. Levine is an outstanding professional who is respected and admired for not only his knowledge, but his ability to ensure that student and family needs are met. It is my utmost pleasure to consider him a colleague and friend."

Our work with Eric reminds us of a quote from Vincent Van Gogh.  He said,
"If you hear a voice that says 'You cannot paint', then by all means paint -
and that voice will be silenced!"  Eric has an amazing way of seeing the
obstacles that our children face - both in themselves and within the systems
they are in, and very quickly and efficiently finds a way to constructively
work with all parties to show them that 'they can paint'.   We are very
thankful to Eric for his patience and complete child-centric focus.

Dr. Eric Levine was instrumental in helping us identify our son's academic needs and best placement for him. But more than that, he was a calm and empathic guide for us as parents during a very emotionaly difficult time when the school system was not in agreement with our concerns. He helped us understand our legal rights, the process of successfully making our case for outside placement in an independent school, and when to push and when to back off. We highly recommend Dr. Levine to anyone looking for an educational consultant and advocate for their child.

Dr. Levine helped my wife and me with our daughter who was having trouble in school.  He was exactly what we needed.  He knew how to cut through all of the red tape and frustration that you put up with from the school system.  I recently recommended him to a good friend."
